
As a Regional Wealth Planner, Shane Kirby facilitates the delivery of wealth planning reports. Using a needs-based approach, Shane works with clients to gather relevant financial information and, more importantly, to identify considerations and help articulate and document goals in order to build a plan aligned with complex needs. With the support of the wealth planning team, Shane delivers strategies that address retirement planning, cash flow planning, navigating risk, business planning, and estate planning.
Shane became part of CI Assante Private Client in 2001. His experience in wealth planning and financial services spans more than 20 years. He began as a member of the Sales and Service team in Central Ontario, where he developed strong relationships with advisors and their teams. This experience led to his role as Private Client Manager in April 2004, followed by his appointment as Regional Wealth Planner in 2009.
Shane holds a Bachelor of Law degree from Carleton University.
